In the midst of celebrating the arrival of a donated retired draft horse (from Culver Academy), Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy – or HRET – now confronts the aftermath an emotionally devastating fire in the riding arena, at their new farm.
From our friends:  “It was a so-called ‘good’ fire, as it did not spread to the stall barn which would have been fatal to our beloved equine friends (Thank You God!).
HRET now needs help, to replace items destroyed in the fire, in addition to feeding and caring for our 1,700-pound Patton, a Percheron draft horse and veteran of four presidential inaugural parades.

If your passion is to help HRET restore/repair and heat our arena, they need your financial help immediately. Removal & replacement of the physical and electrical damage is needed, including the charred insulation which emits an offensive odor, which upsets riders with sensory issues.

You can help us put the memory of this horrible event behind them, and their riders back on their horses, and resume transforming lives by “Empowering People Through the Spirit of the Horse.”
The financial goal is any amount you are touched, moved or inspired to share.  As a 501(c)3 your donation(s) can be tax advantaged.  Checks can be mailed directly to HRET, 53 Woodview Ln., Lemont, IL 60439, or processed through Go Fund Me, with your credit card.
Any size donation is a blessing and greatly appreciated!
