Woman Says Yes after She Was Gored by Bison
Amber Harris was supposed to get engaged, during a trip to Yellowstone National Park… But after she got gored by a bison (wait, what?), her partner popped the question in the hospital, instead.
From the other kind of engagement, Harris suffered a fractured spine and collapsed lung, but not a broken heart: “My love got down on one knee beside my hospital bed last night and formally asked me to be his wife,” Harris wrote more on Facebook: “Without any hesitation I said yes!”
This is the second bison attack – in one week – in a U.S. national park.
Yellowstone has warned visitors to stay far away from bison during their mating season, which lasts from mid-July through mid-August… Frisky times for bison, right now.
