FRISKY FRIDAY FATHERHOOD: Guess Which Kind of Sexual Orientation Helps a Man Have More Kids
Men with “bisexual genes” tend to have more children, a study of 450,000 people in the United Kingdom found. This could help evolutionary scientists understand how bisexuality was passed down over generations.
Straight men who had more “bisexual genes” tended to have more children than straight men who did not have these genes.
“We found that heterosexual men carrying bisexual genes are more willing to take risks and that risk-taking is correlated with more children,” Professor Jianzhi Zhang said.
However, a similar correlation between number of children and bisexual genes was not found in women. Researchers stress that their findings are not intended to suggest or endorse any discrimination. (dailymail.co.uk)
