Earlville’s Route 34 Drive-In Set to Open April 19 – Weather Permitting

It’s tentative, but opening weekend for the drive-in in Earlville could come as early as Friday, April 19th.

This is the 70th year for the Route 34 Drive-In Theatre, which says much, as the majority of American outdoor theatres had shut down, long before pandemic lockdown.  That, however, may be what actually saved the remaining few.  This drive-in opened in 1954, when Americans wanted to do everything with chrome-coated cars.

The new owners say there will be new menu items.

They expect to play movies each weekend, till October.
