Tornado Rips Through Woodridge, Causing Injuries and Damaging Homes

A confirmed tornado touched down in Woodridge, Illinois late Sunday night as severe storms cut a path across the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Video from the area shows houses leveled, roofs ripped off other homes, cars flipped over, and large trees snapped in half. Near the confirmed tornado, the storms also left significant property damage in Naperville, Burr Ridge, and Darien. There are reports of five people transported to the hospital; one with critical injuries. Forecasters say winds hit over 100mph in some spots.
