Dad Has ‘A Word Of Advice’ for Men Who’re Mad about Taylor Swift at NFL Games

Taylor Swift has, arguably, become a football staple, since she started dating Travis Kelce.  One NFL team owner says that just her presence has improved business for the league.  But some folks feel like they have to argue about it.

Taylor’s interpretation of some football fans has angered and “annoyed” men who believe she has destroyed football as a “sanctuary from femininity.”  Yikes.  Swift calls them the “dads, Brads, and Chads” of the world.

However:  One man advises dads, who are concerned about the NFL’s Swift Era, especially girl dads, to embrace it.  “A word of advice for all the dads out there, especially all the girl dads, the dads of teenage girls,” John R. says in a now-viral video.  “This whole thing with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.  You need to embrace it.  You really do.  Stop fighting it.  Stop being a jerk about it.  Stop saying that she’s a distraction.  All of that.  Embrace it.”  For John, the reason behind this thinking is simple:  “It’s gonna be good for your relationship with your daughter.”

John says he had a blast with his daughter, at a recent playoff game…  something which wouldn’t have happened without Swift’s influence.

I loved watching football with my dad.  And it’s fun to watch with my husband and sons, now.  Why exclude each other from this stuff, when it can be good for all of us?  It’s keeping the NFL strong, when it had spent the last several years trying to figure out how to reclaim declining interest…  especially from younger generations.

Has Taylor Swift’s attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games helped you or your family?
