Chris Young Cleared of All Charges after Nashville Arrest

Chris Young has been cleared of all charges, following a run-in with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission officers last week.

A statement, issued by Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk on Friday (January 26th), read:  “Regarding the Chris Young incident – After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed.”

Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, shared, “Mr. Young and I are gratified with the DA’s decision clearing him of the charges and any wrong-doing.”

Among the evidence was a video, which showed the “Famous Friends” singer falling over a barstool, after he was shoved by a police officer.  The video proved that Young had not started the incident, nor provoked officers.

The country star was arrested at the Nashville bar Dawg House on Monday, January 22nd and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault on officer offensive contact.  But the stories the officers told did not match the video of the incident, which was captured by the bar.
