A Bright Fireball over Tokyo Exploded with the Force of 165 Tons of TNT

Tokyo had its very own extraterrestrial fireworks display, Thursday morning, followed by a sonic boom.
Videos – shared on social media – show a massive green and purple flash light up the night sky.
The International Meteor Organization says the light show came courtesy of a meteoroid. IMO adds that it most likely weighed nearly two tons, and carried the source energy of 165 tons of TNT.
