It’s a Pen.

Good news:  We’ve got a new trick you can use to really help improve your memory.  Bad news:  You’ll have to use paper and a pen, like a CAVEMAN.

A new study at the University of Tokyo has figured out that we remember stuff way better, if we HAND-WRITE it down, with a pen and paper.  When we do that, we commit it to memory, way better, than if we type it.

The researchers think it’s because using a paper and pen is more tactile; so we form stronger memories because we use more parts of our brain, to do so.
