The Chicks sang “Hopelessly Devoted to You” from “Grease” as a tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John on Saturday night. “We lost a worldwide sweetheart … Olivia Newton-John,” Maines told the crowd. In fact, the crowd joined Maines in singing the melodramatic words of the timeless ballad, which was notably performed by Newton-Sandy John’s Olsson in the 1978 musical film “Grease.” The actress and singer died on August 8th after a battle with breast cancer.
