‘The Yellow Pillow’ – What Is It? Some Grown-Ups Can’t Live without It
Adults Won’t Give Up Their Yellow Pillows
They weren’t yellow when they arrived home, from the store.
Recently, Cam Thomson took to X, formerly Twitter, to talk about his old “yellow pillow.”  Though his girlfriend was upset with him, for keeping it at all, Thomson said it wasn’t his fault that the pillow “bestows…  the most peaceful slumber.”

His post was met with more confessions; as other users posted photos of their yellow pillows.

Part of being a man is using the same pillow since the age of 10 and never washing it,” one commenter said.  Is that so?  Never washing it seems extreme.

However, yellow pillows could contain a build-up of sweat, dirt, lotions, and more.

Depending on the composition of the pillow, it may be washable (better in a pro-size machine).  If they are organic, like down (feathers), then it may be good to change them out, at some point.

Changing pillows every few years is advised…  But that comes mostly from pillow companies and allergists.
