Study:  People with Low Vitamin D Twice as Likely to Catch Coronavirus – But There’s a Catch

Of all the coronavirus “remedies” which have surfaced, it turns out the one that holds any truth concerns vitamin D.

While taking massive amounts might not fend off the coronavirus, not getting enough vitamin D could open the door to a COVID infection.

A study from the University of Chicago Medicine reveals thqat people who have deficient vitamin D levels are almost twice as likely to develop COVID-19 – a difference the authors call “statistically significant.”

They believe vitamin D slows down the replication of viral cells, according to the study.

However, vitamin D can also be a bad thing.  The researchers have also found that vitamin D can reduce symptoms – meaning it increases the chance that a person could be a carrier without knowing it.
