Pontoon Plane splashes down in Morris!

Just before 2 pm this afternoon a small pontoon plane crashed into the Illinois River a few miles upstream from the William G. Stratton State Park.
Emergency personnel were able to locate both the pilot and passenger of the plane within 30 minutes and all reports indicate no serious injury’s were sustained by either party according to Morris Fire Chief Tracey Steffes.
