The divorce between Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock is starting to sound like a very sad country song.

A judge awarded the former couple joint physical and legal custody with Kelly having the kids most of the time, since she lives in L.A.  Brandon, whose father used to be married to Reba McEntire, lives in Montana.  McEntire has said she is upset about the split.

Blackstock now asks for $436,000 per month, in spousal and child support.  That amounts to $5.2 million, per year.  He also wants Kelly to pay his attorney fees – in the amount of $2 million.

Clarkson’s talk show has won a Daytime Emmy.  She continues to appear as a music judge on NBC’s “The Voice,” with Blake Shelton, who has been represented (along with other big-name artists) by Blackstock.
