Joe Don Rooney’s Divorce Final: Ex-Wife Denied Spousal Support + Custody Split

The courts have finalized Joe Don Rooney‘s divorce, this fall, and not without some tough terms and a lesson about human frailties.  It took years.

Rascal Flatts‘ Rooney had filed the paperwork, back in January 2021, after he had discovered that his wife would, too.

Apparently, alcoholism, infidelity, and “extravagant lifestyle” demands ended the marriage.

Fallon Rooney will be the primary residential parent for their three children, but both parties will get 182.5 days of parenting time per year – an even split.

Rooney declined Fallon’s spousal support request.  Instead, she’ll receive $791 weekly child support.

Rooney’s former bandmate, Jay DeMarcus, said he looked better than he had in ten years, after Joe Don had accomplished 19 months, sober.

In recent interviews, Gary LeVox had also implied that Rooney caused the band’s 2020 dissolution.
