It’s been 30 long years since Reba McEntire released her For My Broken Heart album.  At the time, she was mourning many of her band members – who had just died in a plane crash, prior to the project’s finish.

The project was certified four-times platinum.

It also debuted in the Top 5 on the country albums chart, climbed to No. 3, and stayed there for seven weeks.

After the album came out, she was nominated for several ACM and Grammy awards.
