This Ad Was Declared Too Obscene – Because of the Eggplant

Drinks company DASH’s latest advertisement has been rejected for obscenity.  The ad, featuring a funkily-shaped eggplant, was deemed inappropriate for London’s transportation system.

Transport for London rejected the image of the plant on the grounds that the image could be seen as indecent.  DASH’s social media proudly displays the plant “in its natural glory.” (mirror.co.uk)
