‘Cobra Kai’ Co-Creator Discusses ‘Karate Kid’ Spin-off Film – But It’s Not from the Show’s Producers

One of the creators of Cobra Kai recently talked about a possible Karate Kid spinoff film, which Sony recently announced will be coming in 2024… But not like you might think.
Jon Hurwitz said, “The guys and I would love to make Karate Kid and Cobra Kai movies and hope to someday.”
He continued, “But this one isn’t from us or focused on the Cobra Kai cast. Don’t know much about it, but wish it well.”
Sony hasn’t released many details on who will be directing this film, nor who will be starring in this film. But more information should be revealed, soon.
