Thomas Rhett Learned a Big Lesson, While Touring with Toby Keith

Thomas Rhett says he learned a lesson early in his career, while on his first tour, opening for Toby Keith. TR’s tonsils were swollen and he went on Toby’s bus to tell him – that he was just too sick and couldn’t go on stage.

After announcing that he was not playing that night. He says that he notice that Toby was holding his stomach. He looked at him and said, “Well, it’s alright man, I had my gallbladder taken out early today so if you want to be a pansy about it, be my guest.”

Needless to say, he went on stage that night.

Thomas Rhett is back on tour, now.
