Dolly Parton Invites Carly Pearce To Join The Grand Ole Opry
Dolly Parton surprised the heck out of Carly Pearce during what she thought was a promotion of Dollywood, Parton’s theme park.
A video posted by the Grand Ole Opry shows Pearce interviewing about the theme park and sharing her earliest memory of Dollywood when Parton walks out and tells Carly, “I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you.”
Parton speaks on Carly’s over 80 appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, saying Pearce should become a member of the Opry to which Carly agrees. Parton then reveals, “I came here today to tell you, you are now an official member of the Grand Ole Opry.”
Carly was overcome with emotion and took to social media to share the news with the caption, “Dreams come true…sometimes even better than you dare to dream.”
