Zac Brown Band Enlists Skrillex for Upcoming Album ‘Owl’

It’s a very interesting intersection that country music is at in 2019. With the success of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” which genre-bends between country and Hip-Hop, it’s not surprising that Zac Brown Band wants to test the waters on their upcoming album, “Owl.” Zac Brown Band will team up with EDM performer Skrillex as well as Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, and Shawn Mendes for their new album. “We are always pushing ourselves as musicians by blurring genre boundaries and incorporating all kinds of music we are personally inspired by, elevating what we are capable of as a group. This album will have something for everyone,” said the group. “Owl” is set to be released on September 20th.
