The study used fruit flies, and exposed them to blue light for 14 days. After the exposure, they showed signs of aging. Doctor Jadwiga Giebultowicz explains “Our study suggests that avoidance of excessive blue light exposure may be a good anti-aging strategy,”
Previous studies have shown a connection between screen time and obesity and mental health problems.
Blue light may also cause eye strain and make it harder to sleep.
