WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER: Here’s What Parents Should Do If Their Child Disappears
Viral Video Shows What Parents or Guardians Should Do If Their Child Goes Missing

Mother of three, Jess Martini, shares her tips for finding a lost child, in a post – which has now gone viral.

Her tips include getting loud:  Don’t just call out your child’s name.  Yell out what they are wearing, how they look, so other people can help you spot them.  And teach your child to stay in one safe spot, rather than wander, if they are lost.

Most parents look for their children quietly, which can result in the loss lasting even longer – the mistake is made by NOT drawing attention.

And kids should know to yell loudly – words like “fire!” or “somebody’s trying to steal me!” – if anyone chases or tries to take them away.  If anyone tries to get them into a vehicle, they should fight hard to get away and yell loudly, at the same time.
