What Foods Are Most Likely to Put You in a Good Mood or a Bad Mood?

A new survey asked people what foods put them in a good mood . . . and what foods put them in a bad mood.  The top three “bad mood” foods are donuts, alcohol, and soda . . . and top three “good mood” foods are coffee, dark chocolate, and grapes.  #EatSmarterNotHarder

It may hurt you a little, to see people drag the good name of pizza through the gutter, like this…

But:  A new survey asked people which foods or drinks put them in a good mood . . . and which ones put them in a bad mood.

And the top food that leaves people feeling unhappy is . . . a DONUT.  I guess that’s because it’s delicious in the moment, but leaves you feeling like garbage, afterwards.

That’s basically true for most of the 10 “bad mood” foods.  They are:  Donuts . . . alcohol . . . pop (outside of Chicago it’s “soda”) . . . energy drinks . . . burgers . . . candy . . . pizza (nnnnoooooo!) . . . cake . . . white bread . . . and chips.

And the 10 foods that put us in a good mood are:  Coffee . . . dark chocolate . . . grapes . . . berries . . . yogurt . . . eggs . . . salmon . . . oranges . . . apples . . . and melons.
