Do you use a top sheet on your bed?
It seems like it’s a millennial thing… younger adults often do not use top sheets. Many millennials say they just prefer the blanket, only.
The top sheet is intended to keep blankets and quilts and such from getting your natural dander or body oil on them – It protects your blanket so you don’t have to wash it as often.
It was also meant, for many decades, to keep the inner part of the bed clean from any dust or bugs or soil which might be on the outer covering.
Many use a duvet cover over the quilt and wash that to keep the quilt clean.
Do you use the top sheet over the fitted sheet?
