Fuller lips are all the rage, at the moment… But experts warn against using at-home hyaluronic acid pens to achieve the effect. Of course, it’s gone viral, on TikTok.

While some TikTok users praise the pen, for offering quick and inexpensive plump peckers, medical and cosmetic experts say the pen may actually botch your appearance.

The device is actually intended for diabetic patients to give themselves insulin.

Using the device improperly can cause inflammation, bacterial, or fungal infections. Those can become serious, real fast.
