Tim McGraw Says He Is Proud to Have Raised his Three Daughters

Tim McGraw, like most happy parents, takes every opportunity to talk about his three daughters – and how proud he is of them.

During a recent interview, he spoke of his daughter, Gracie, who went to a friend’s home, and insisted on saying ma’am and sir when she addressed her friend’s parents.  They tried to tell her that the formality wasn’t necessary.  But Gracie insisted, “Look, I can feel my mom yelling at me from across the country if I don’t say yes ma’am or no ma’am and yes sir or no sir.”

“She was laughing about that,” said McGraw.   Although addressing adults as “ma’am” or “sir” is rare, with young people nowadays, McGraw says it’s a sign of respect, and “it’s nice to see your kids do that.”

McGraw shares his three girls with his wife and fellow Country star Faith Hill. Gracie is 23, Maggie, 21, and Audrey is 18 and will be graduating high school this year.
