Tim McGraw Re-Recorded ‘Don’t Take the Girl’ With Blanco Brown

Tim McGraw released a new video of “Don’t Take The Girl,” but this time, with a duet partner. He reached out to singer, producer Blanco Brown, who’s best known for his work with Pitbull and Chris Brown, as well as his hit single, “The Git Up.”
In the video the two swap lines and at the end, Blanco tells Tim how the song literally changed his life and helped him “not to make his street circumstances, a reality.” He said this about the lyrics, “This song is so deep and full of purpose. I decided to make my life full of purpose.”
“Don’t Take The Girl” was Tim’s first #1 song, 25 years ago. Check out the new version!
