This One’s For The Girls: Today Is International Women’s Day

Today (Tuesday) is International Women’s Day.

It’s a day set aside, dating back to the early 1900s, to celebrate the global “social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women,” according to the International Women’s Day website.

The day also calls for action to advance gender equality.

This year’s theme is Break The Bias and asks people to show their support for women, by posting selfies to social media – posing with arms crossed, along with #BreakTheBias or #IWD2022.
