‘The Voice’: Blake Shelton’s Tough Love Makes Singer Cry to ‘Scare Stage Presence’ into Her

It was a tough night on “The Voice” stage, as contestants Emma Caroline and Cam Anthony were paired to perform Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s “10,000 Hours.”

While they were getting ready to perform, Dan + Shay were actually THERE, as Shelton’s musical advisors…  which made the performance ten times harder, for Caroline and Anthony.

When the duo hit the stage, it was Cam who made his presence known.  But Caroline faded into the background; and Shelton took notice.  He crowned Anthony as the winner.  But Blake used his “save” for Emma, at the last possible moment.  Judge Shelton said that he wanted to “scare some stage presence” into her.

His fellow judges questioned his tactics.  Nick Jonas teased Shelton:  “You do have a heart, after all.”
