The Mask Mandate is Back in Chicago

Chicago is reinstating an indoor mask mandate three months after lifting it due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. City Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady announced that starting Friday, face coverings will be required in stores, restaurants and other public spaces for all people over the age of two, regardless of the person’s vaccination status. The change comes as the city is now averaging more than 400 new COVID cases per day.
