In an exclusive Rolling Stone interview with Taylor Swift, the “Lover” singer details the beef between her and Kanye West.
The singer says that after Kanye interrupted her Best Female Video win at MTV’s 2009 VMAs the singer recalls Kanye’s apology coming to a halt when he publicly said he apologized due to “peer pressure” and that he stood by his remarks.

After a brief reconnection, Kanye and Taylor seemed to reconcile after he asked her to present him with the Vanguard Award at the VMAs in 2015, afterward Kanye got on stage during the acceptance of the award and says, “MTV got Taylor Swift up here to present me this award for ratings!”

The back-stabbing comment again drove a wedge between the artists, the final straw was West’s song “Famous” where he said Taylor approved the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**ch famous,” Taylor says “when I heard the song, I was like, ‘I’m done with this If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it.'”  Read more from ET Online here.
