Taylor Swift Earns American Music Award for ‘Red’ Re-Recording + 5 More = 40 Total

Not only did Taylor Swift look like the gold standard of the music industry, but she also took home plenty of hardware, during Sunday night’s American Music Awards (AMAs).

Swift won in every category she was nominated in (six of them):  Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Pop Album, Favorite Country Album, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Female Country Artist.

To date, Taylor has 40 AMAs.  And she had some difficulty, holding the six trophies she scooped up, Sunday evening.
