Last week rumors began circulating that Taco Bell would be making some menu changes that would include getting rid of all potato items, the Quesarito, loaded grillers, and 7-layer burrito. Now a Taco Bell spokesperson has confirmed that the following items will be leaving the menu: Grilled Steak Soft Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Quesarito (still available via web/app for order ahead), Nachos supreme, Beefy Fritos Burrito, Spicy Tostada, Triple Layer Nachos, Spicy Soft Potato Taco, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Loaded Grillers (Cheesy Potato, Beefy Nacho), Chips & Dips, and the Mini Skillet Bowl. The spokesperson wrote in the email, “Taco Bell is in fact simplifying its menu to streamline operations and make ordering faster, safer, and easier than ever for customers and team members, especially while the pandemic has shifted priorities to the drive-thru and digital. […] we’re excited to introduce the $1 Beef Burrito to the Cravings Value Men and the return of the $5 Grande Nachos Box for a limited time.” The menu changes, including zero potatoes, are going into effect in August. Here’s the complete story from Mashable.
