A Montana man whose father paid more than 100-thousand dollars for cryogenic preservation after death is suing to get his remains.

Kurt Pilgeram alleges the Arizona-based Alcor Life Extension Foundation severed the head of his father, Laurence Pilgeram, and sent him the cremated remains of the rest of the body.

The son says his father wanted his entire body preserved. Pilgeram is seeking more than one-million dollars in damages and the return of his father’s head, according to the Great Falls Tribune.
