You probably wouldn’t think of Lancaster, Pennsylvania as the best place in America to retire. According to U.S. News & World Report, Lancaster is where you should spend your golden years.
Factors used to determine the best places to retire include affordability, access to health care and something called the happiness index.
Other cities in the top five are Fort Myers, Sarasota, Austin, and Pittsburgh. Only one Mid-west city made the list Grand Rapids, Michigan which came in at #6. Here’s the full list.
