According to a new study, kids who spend time watching “Sesame Street,” at home, tend to perform better in school.

The study also reveals that it especially holds true for boys, who are black, and for those who live in economically disadvantaged areas.

The study was completed in 2015.  It finds that, the more exposure a child has to the show, while growing up, the more likely the child is to be employed and have higher wages at work.
