Scotty McCreery and Wife Gabi Celebrate Infant Son’s First Christmas

Scotty McCreery, 29, and his wife Gabi, shared a family holiday card on Instagram, on Saturday (December 24), showing their 9-week-old son, Merrick Avery.

Moose McCreery, their dog, stares at the camera while the holiday card sits on a red present bag.  The family showcased baby Avery’s close-ups on the back of the card.  They included Avery’s birth weight, 7 lbs. and 3 oz., and text, which reads, “Sending love from our family to yours this Christmas season!  Love, Scotty, Gabi, Avery & Moose.”

McCreery admits that his first time away from his son was hard.  He told People, after arrived in Las Vegas for a show, “This is my first trip away from home since he’s been born, so getting to the airport and saying goodbye to him was definitely the toughest.  It really hit me this morning.”
