Rising country star Justin Carter accidentally shot.

Carter was shot to death in Texas with a gun that was being used as a prop for a music video, local news outlets reported Thursday.

The apparent accidental shooting took place in Carter’s own apartment in Woodlands, north of Houston, on Saturday, according to ABC 11.
