Ring Of Fire Solar Eclipse Can Be Seen In Chicago

Millions of people in the Northeast U.S. will be treated to a rare “ring of fire” solar eclipse as the moon crosses paths with sun, leaving a bright glow around the edges. The moon will start covering the sun at 4:12 a.m. Eastern Time, with the partial eclipse ending around 9 a.m. Eastern Time. In Chicago WJOL’s Rick DiMaio snapped this picture just after 5 a.m. this morning.
