Rascal Flatts Release ‘Twenty Years of Rascal Flatts’ Anniversary Album Today
Rascal Flatts celebrates their 20th anniversary as a band with today’s (Friday, Oct. 2nd) release of Twenty Years of Rascal Flatts – The Greatest Hits. The project includes 20 of their biggest hits and fan favorite songs throughout their career, which began in 2000 with the released of their debut single, “Prayin’ For Daylight.”
Since then, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney have gone on to chart 17 Number One hits. As Gary tells us, he has instant recall about the details surrounding each big hit. [“We do reflect when we hear stuff. For me, it always goes back to like where we recorded it, when we did, what was happening right at that time. I kinda go back to the studio and where we were in our careers, and it’s an amazing journey every time you hear something that takes you back to when you first recorded it. (Jay) The Gap turtlenecks we wore on the cover. (Gary) Oh yeah, for sure. (Jay) It’s amazing.”
Rascal Flatts just released their latest single, “How They Remember You.” It’s the title track from their EP which was released in July.
