NFL Fans Share Jokes after Walker Hayes (CBS, Really) ‘Ruined’ the Halftime Show

NFL Fans got a good listen to Walker Hayes, and his latest hits during the Bengels v Chiefs halftime show.

Someone at CBS Sports screwed up the audio – So, while Walker was performing you could hear him belting out his hits, “Fancy Like” and “AA,” very loudly, in the background, as the analysts (James BrownNate BurlesonPhil SimmsBoomer Esiason, and Bill Cowher) tried to deliver their reports.

One correspondent resulted to reporting with sign language.  Another exclaimed, “It’s a party here in KC, baby!” while yelling over the music.

Hayes later took to social media – with his characteristic humor, humility and grace – to acknowledge his overbearing performance:  “Loudest halftime show in history,” Walker tweeted – along with three crying laughing emojis.

Walker posted a clip of it, but played it safe, saying, “CBSSports, thanks for having me.”

Naturally, Twitter had a field day.  One person wrote, “Who scheduled a football game in the middle of a Walker Hayes concert?”  Another said, “We’re getting a halftime show and a halftime show at the same time.”

This one loved the chaos, quote, “This is the greatest halftime show in the history of televised sports.”

This person called it:  “A producer is getting fired today.
