1. The New York Yankees are baseball’s most valuable franchise at $5 billion
2 Los Angeles Dodgers at $3.4 billion
3. Boston Red Sox are third at $3.3 billion
4. Chicago Cubs at $3.2 billion
5. San Francisco at $3.1 billion
6. New York Mets at $2.4 billion
7. St. Louis Cardinals at $2.2 billion
8. Philadelphia Phillies at $2 billion
Near the bottom were Kansas City ($1.025 billion), Tampa Bay ($1.05 billion), Cincinnati ($1.075 billion) and Oakland ($1.1 billion). In last place: Miami at $980 million.
