Matt Stell has earned his second consecutive Number One single on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week with “Everywhere But On.” Matt co-wrote the song, which follows up last year’s platinum-selling hit “Prayed For You.”

Matt said, “It is tough for me to be at a loss for words, but I am. As a songwriter, to experience this twice in a row is just the best feeling.  There is a lot of me in this song and that makes this extra special.  I am so grateful to country radio and all of the hard-working people on my team!”

Prior to the song officially topping the charts, Matt told us what having another Number One would mean to him: “Well it’d really mean everything to me because this song is a song I like to say that I lived a lot of the song when I wrote it and I lived a bunch more of the rest of it once I put it out in the world. It’s pretty autobiographical. I wrote it with two of my best friends here in town, and, man, it’d be a lot of fun to celebrate another one.”

“Everywhere But One” is one of eight tracks featured on his new EP, Better Than That, which was released last month.
