Maddon’s Post, the Wrigleyville restaurant named after former Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon, is closed. That happened on Sunday, seven months after the restaurant outside Wrigley Field opened. Owners Levy Restaurants and Hickory Street Capital, the real estate investment firm owned by the Ricketts family, which also owns the Cubs, blamed the departures of Maddon and award-winning chef Tony Mantuano for the closure. Maddon is now the manager of the Los Angeles Angels.
