Luke Grimes Doesn’t Want to Know How ‘Yellowstone’ Ends – for Good Reason

Yellowstone‘s Luke Grimes was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he talked more about his debut music, than what Yellowstone’s Dutton family has coming up – and for good reason.

When Fallon asked Grimes if he knew how the Yellowstone season would be ending, Grimes said, “No, I don’t.  I think so some of the cast know, the end…  you know, had been told, some have…  and I didn’t want to know…  I don’t; and I don’t think Taylor Sheridan who writes our show, wants me to know, either, just, I don’t know.”

Grimes continued:  “Yeah, it might — it might affect the way you do something or play something.  And it’s kind of fun to experience this way.”

[Mini-spoiler alert:  Yellowstone is on hiatus, until the summer, when fans will find out if Grimes’ character, Kayce Dutton, will step up, in his father’s absence.]

On social media, Luke recently announced the release of his debut song, “No Horse To Ride,” which he co-wrote.  It came out Friday, December 16th.

Luke is set to perform at Stagecoach in Indio, CA, April 30th.

He’s in the process of recording his debut album, which is produced by Dave Cobb (same label as Chris Stapleton).

Grimes is not the only musician-turned-actor on Yellowstone.  Such distinguished castmates include Lainey Wilson, Ryan Bingham, Taylor Childers, Jason Isbell, Whitey Morgan and groups like the 78’s, The Steel Woods, The Trishas and Turnpike Troubadours.
