Luke Bryan Will Be “Prayin’ in a Deer Stand” This Thanksgiving

Luke Bryan‘s follow-up to his top-ten-and-climbing “Country On” incorporates a spiritual component, in addition to his love of the great outdoors.

Luke’s next song, “Prayin’ in a Deer Stand,’” was written for deer season, and more.  He says, “It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”

The “Huntin,’ Fishin,’ and Lovin’ Every Day” songwriter adds:  “[I] really love the story that it tells.  And I think, you know, if you’re really into deer hunting and even being outdoors, I mean, so many times, whether you’re hunting or fishing or whatever, [it’s about] just kinda get[ting] to be out there and spend a little time with the big man upstairs.”  Bryan says he has all of his hunting gear in order, and plans to get outdoors during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Meanwhile, his wife, Caroline, recovers from hip surgery – but she’s given her blessing.

Afterward, he resumes his Sin City residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, Wednesday, November 30.
