LEGO Pauses Marketing of Emergency Responder Sets

Lego has temporarily stopped marketing its emergency-themed sets, as a show of support for the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of George Floyd.

The company sent an email to retailers to notify them of the stoppage, effective immediately.

Over 30 sets, which include police, K-9 Units, firefighters, emergency vehicles, criminals, and more, are described in the email.

The company also announces it will be donating $4 million to organizations which are “dedicated to supporting black children and educating all children about racial equality.”
