Kelly Clarkson undergoes emergency surgery.

Hours after hosting the billboard music awards on Wednesday, Kelly Clarkson flew back home to L.A. and underwent an appendectomy. According to etonline.com  they learned exclusively that Kelly had been battling appendicitis all week. But like the consummate professional she hosted the 3 hour long show and performed twice!

She is home resting now and plans to be on the voice Monday night.
