Kelly Clarkson made her first public appearance over the weekend, since she filed for divorce from her husband, Brandon Blackstock.

The singer and daytime host appeared on local Los Angeles news, fresh-faced for a telethon benefiting Project Angel Food.  The non-profit organization cooks and delivers food to those in need.

“Hey what’s up, Project Angel Food. I just wanted you to know how awesome you all are for the way that you’ve led with love during this whole pandemic.  You’ve kept the doors open for people who are most vulnerable to the virus, those who are older and those who are struggling with life-threatening illnesses…”  Clarkson said, before she sang U2’s “Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

Clarkson also won a Daytime Emmy award for her self-titled daytime talk show.  She took to social media, to thank her staff and her estranged husband for, “believing in me & convincing me to do @KellyClarksonTV show.”

Blackstock manages many country music artists, like Blake Shelton.  Do you think Kelly Clarkson’s husband should still remain her manager?  Could you work with your estranged partner after breaking up?
